Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin NW - Lakeline, an IHG Hotel

"This hotel is at an easy location to navigate to however it is on the highway so you have lots of road noise. The room (suite) was spacious however there was residue from remodeling all over the shower room. Other than that....the room was clean."

"Have stayed twice when travelling internationally & cannot fault the team here. Rooms are large & well presented, close to stores, downtown & main area. Rooms cleaned daily & complimentary breakfast! Staff are friendly! Will continue to stay here & would recommend to people travelling!"

"STAFF: Just Amazing! Very friendly, knowledgeable front desk and housekeeping personnel. Everyone was very friendly and greeted us with a smiling personalities. ROOMS: We stayed in Room 108 - it had a very strong smell of urine, this was very unfortunate. Great spacious room, soft bed and clean linens. Although we were unable to pull up the blinds, they were missing the pulley attachments. BATHROOM: Big, clean walk in shower. The shower had two shower heads with fantastic water pressure."

"Diego was absolutely wonderful! We were coming in late and he helped my mom get set up with the exact room she wanted ahead of time (top floor, back of the hallway). He even remembered her when he welcomed us into the hotel. 10/10 fantastic and friendly service even at 11 pm at night"

"Where do I begin. The pool is green, the most disgusting water I've ever seen, and likely a health nightmare. I had to change rooms right away due to their being multiple large stains on both beds. Clean beds are the bare minimum you look for in a hotel. The woman at the front desk didn't even apologize for the dirty room, just brushed it off like it happens frequently. After switching rooms, the second one at least had clean linens but the bathroom had multiple yellow stains, rust, and paint in the tub. The windows looked like they hadn't been washed in years, with the hallway windows looking particularly egregious. One of the hotel front desk staff was dressed pretty unprofessionally, not a huge deal but not what you expect from hotel staff. The most disturbing part was when I was ready to go to bed, I went to lock the door from the inside and noticed that the top deadbolt latch was completely broken off. Not a huge deal by itself because there are two locking mechanisms. Except the bottom deadbolt was misaligned with the doorframe didn't engage with the opening in the frame, so that was completely useless also. Security completely lacking doesn't give you a great feeling going to sleep. At this point I was ready to switch hotels all together but it was late at night and I was too tired so I just moved the fridge in front of the door as a last resort. I know it's just a 2 star hotel but please don't stay at this hotel, there are several much better options for the same price located nearby."
