"The staff were very nice and cooperative. Jack helped provide excellent customer service. Thank you. The breakfast was excellent, with good choices. The room was very clean and comfortable. The room has a coffee maker and microwave. The free WiFi was very fast. Uber cars and restaurants are available within a few minutes; I definitely recommend them. The parking lot is also gated"
"I had a 6:30am flight out of Austin and live two hours away so I booked a room to make the flight on time. Upon driving up it the hotel was packed and the courtesy happy hour was just ending. I was greeted when I walked in and the front desk employee was very nice. I was pleasantly surprised by the room it was clean with no pubic hairs or stains in the room or least that I could see. I believe the hotel has been renovated because everything appears new. The shower was hot and did not clog!!! That’s a pet peeve for me so I was happy. Pappadeux is within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and although I was on the first floor it was quiet."
"My family and I had a wonderful visit to Austin and stayed at this hotel. The rooms were clean, the breakfast and time out food was on point and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Evin, the front desk gentleman on night shift, was amazing. We appreciate him. We did have someone smoking weed and cigarettes on our floor which once reported they put a stop to. However, I would have appreciated a perk for dealing with the gross smells along with the apology. Maybe even offered to wave the $50 a night pee fee, a room upgrade… something! My dog has stayed in hundreds of hotels and never ever had a mistake. Especially, never smoked in the room! Other than that, we had a great stay. Thank you"
"I have some mixed reviews about this location. Pros: First off, the woman who greeted us when we first arrived, was very friendly! She was helpful and gave us all the necessary info we needed! The rooms are updated. While they are very small, there’s tile in the bathroom, a bath shower/combo with good water pressure and our room was clean upon arrival. A few amenities seemed to be missing, such as the lotion, but it wasn’t a big deal. The bed was also not too bad. Some Drury locations can have very uncomfortable beds, and this one was much better! The mattress was not too bouncy and it was firm. The room itself was pretty quiet, although you could still hear things through the door, overall it wasn’t bad. Parking is not covered. For some reason I thought it was, but we felt it was still pretty safe. Cons: The room itself was very tiny compared to other Drurys we’ve been at. I could literally touch the ceiling with my hand and it was a very uncomfortable situation in the shower, having to bend around to wash my hair. Also, there was very limited space in the bathroom to put your stuff. If you’re only one person it’s fine, but for more than person it gets crowded. I felt like I walked into a 1980’s medical office when we first arrived in the elevator (still working great, but a bit slow). It’s like half of the building hasn’t been touched and the other half has been updated. Also, I don’t know if this is typical, but we left our room on our second day around 10:30 am. We were out for about 4-5 hours or so and when we got back, room service still hadn’t touched our room. We did get what we needed, but would have been nice to come back to a room that had been cleaned a bit. Not sure if we would return to this location. It’s steep price wise, for the location and space, in my opinion."
"Nice hotel with secure parking. Bed was comfortable. Room was fairly small. Our particular room was on the third floor above the area where patrons gathered for evening snacks and drinks. It was quite noisy for several hours. I really liked all of the electrical outlets but surprised no usb connection for charging. So be sure to bring a charger. We had to put a towel under door as the light shone very bright through the space under the door. Overall it was a nice place to stay and if we visit Austin again, we will probably stay here."
