"I was kind of disappointed, I expected more. Many of the shelves and freezers were bare and the store didn't really look kept up . The gentleman behind the counter stayed on the phone and just looked at me when I came in and even when he rang me up. I was just curious about the products they sold and many were very interesting. I did purchase black eye peas and another black bean with a white stripe I had never seen before because I did want to support the business. I did go into the store after our city was pretty much shut down after snow so there's that. I will go back and try different spices and stuff. Hopefully there will an improvement."

"Milo was expired! I decided to edit my review because I couldn't reply to your response to me. First of all I will like to say, you need to know how to reply people when they voice out their opinions. I am a consumer who drove all yhe way to patronize you, and maybe is my fault for not checking expiration date on the items, I wrote my review so other buyers will pay attention, you think I have any bad intentions for giving you a review? I barely know you, why would I do that? Secondly, I don't care about your feelings towards what I wrote, I worked hard for my money to be eating expired food. Thirdly, here is a free advice for you, the next time a costumer complains on Google, all you have to say is ( we apologize for any inconvenience, we will do our best to make sure we check all our products on regular basis) . Now moving forward, you don't know who will walk in that store next time, they can be window shoppers, people who are just there to test you, be careful how you respond to reviews and man up, this is business, some people will please and some will not, stop bringing colorism into this, making people feel guilty for voicing their opinion, I don't need to text you, I don't owe it to you. So please pay attention to the things you selling me, because you are not giving to me free, I am paying for it, and I have a voice to help other consumers."

"Dagan African Market is the best local international market in Clarksville, TN. I have been shopping with them for long time and I am always pleased with the quality of their products and prices. Great customer service and friendly place to stop by, shop, and learn about the greatness of African food, ingredients, costumes and many other items."

"Great customer service. The owner is a very nice person. They will even ship you the groceries even you live in different state. Most African Markets I know don't do such thing."

"Update: Went in a few more times after my original review, and the store is alot more organized. They have also put a lot more stuff on the shelfs, however it seem things sell out fast. The guys that work there are also very pleasant and helpful. They have the best goat meat. Could be a little more organized, but other than that, it's a great place to buy African-Caribbean groceries."
