"My kids have been attending Children’s Lighthouse of Woodforest since May 2023. First let me say that I have had no real issues in comparison to other daycare facilities in the Montgomery County surrounding district! The director Mrs. Jennifer is absolutely fantastic and goes out of her way to make each child (mine included) feel like more than just a child of this day care facility, but like family, and Mrs. Jennifer has always opened her arms and extended reach willingly, with anything concerning my children. They keep you up to date throughout the day via. The Procare app, with notices, pictures, and immediate notification of any incident reports, or children feeling unwell. I have seen a bit of heavy turn over regarding employees; day care staff/ teachers but I feel the director, and assistant director Mrs. Denise take pride in the role of due diligence in bringing about the best teachers for the children. I do wish the daycare staff was paid a bit higher.. but that’s just my opinion, and is America 2024 regardless. Overall, I highly recommend Children’s Lighthouse of Woodforest! It is such a great community, and this daycare does the best of their ability in using their resources to have an educational, welcoming, safe, and beyond fun for our children; establishment. They are always doing extracurriculars for our kids and the community. I gladly give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
"Have nothing but great things to say about Children’s Lighthouse Woodforest. My baby started in room 1 when he was 10 weeks old. Miss Karen is an angel. Miss Taylor is also so sweet and patient. All you can ask for as a working parent is that your child is safe and gets lots of love and attention. These ladies do a great job. I receive tons of pictures and videos throughout the day, so I always know whats going on. The facility is bright and clean. My little one loves the play “gym”. Would recommend Children’s Lighthouse Woodforest to any family looking for daycare for their little ones."
"We have been so blessed to have the best teachers. Ms Karen in is so incredible. My Jacklyn and Stephanie in are the best. And as are all the teachers that help assist. All a parent wants is a teacher to treat and love their baby as their own and that’s exactly how these teachers are."
"We really and truly love CLH Woodforest. From the minute you walk in the door, it’s all friendly faces. The admin ladies- Denise and Jennifer- are wonderful and know everybody by name. Ms Tori in the kitchen is a literal angel, she’s so patient with the kiddos and makes sure everyone is well fed. The room 6 ladies, Natalie and Maria, are so sweet with my son. They have helped so much with his potty training and they always have fun activities that incorporate learning. I love the app, where there are updates multiple times a day with curriculum assignments and meal time specifics and photos on photos of my boy having fun. We love this place! So glad we found them."
"New Dad and my only experience with any daycare so let that set the stage. Having said that, my son has been here for almost 2 years, starting at 6 months. I've been happy with the curriculum, structure and most of the teachers. I could never do the job as one of these teachers, managing 8-12 kiddos at one time. If a parent were to ask my offline opinion, here's what I'd say; Yes, I do like this place. The communication could be better in real time as we go through the day. Updates are not consistent, but I do feel that the majority of the teachers who are spending 8+ hours a day around my son are high quality. And that it primarily why we have continued to go to this facility; the teachers. Most of them are Mothers, have a lot of patience and are receptive to feedback. Management has room for improvement in supporting their teachers with requests from parents, turnover in staff and incident reports. They all use the same app. Again, new Dad.. but when I drop my little one off and don't receive an update for 4 hours- I blame management not the teacher watching 9 kids at once."
