"We don't recommend this piano classroom at all. The teacher's behavior has caused our daughter to cry after every lesson. It's unclear what criteria they use to choose teachers for kids, as they don't seem to know how to treat children properly. It's especially concerning that the teacher keeps asking for private lessons to make money from the students. We suggest finding a different piano teacher who knows how to treat kids well and genuinely cares about their happiness and learning."
"Attention everyone: AVOID the YMCA for piano classes! My child was humiliated by her teacher, and when we complained, the management did NOTHING. Worse, they retaliated against us instead of disciplining their abusive staff. This place lacks professionalism and empathy. They're quick to ignore serious complaints, showing a complete disregard for children's emotional well-being and parental concerns. Absolutely unacceptable and disgraceful behavior. Stay away!"
"Pros: Convenient location and friendly staff. Fair rates. Nice building. Cons: Gym equipment selection is well below average. No bench press, no squat rack…It lacks the basics. Locker rooms also need to be improved."
"The YMCA in Mansfield is new and clean; however, it lacks the weight equipment one would expect in any gym. Many of us have formally requested a bench press be added, but we still do not have one. The STEM classes have been great so far."
"I love what the YMCA does for their respective communities, and hated to give one star. The site is operational yet incomplete. It doesn’t have all of the feature the more mature locations such as Cooper and Central have in place. They do have a “gym” area but it’s more of an afterthought. The location is akin to a glorified rec center. It’s a nonprofit that just happens to have a gym which is what I needed more than the social community thing. It is very affordable and does good work for the local community; however, it’s outlived it’s usefulness for gym rats like me. Recently had to make the very tough decision to cancel membership and join a facility that’s just a gym."
