"Looked a little rough from outside, they are renovating the entire building. Was a little worried at first, until I got in my room… this is definitely one of the nicest Hampton in room I have ever stayed in and I stay at hotels frequently. Staff so far very friendly/helpful and the location is perfect. When I have to work in this area I will be staying here in the future. Keep up the great work guys!"

"This place is completely under construction and should be closed until renovations are completed. My wife and I stayed a night while attending a friends wedding. We arrived to a nail infested parking lot with barely any spots left due to construction materials. The lobby is completely torn apart and there was a man on the scaffolding outside our window on the 3rd floor while my wife and I were getting ready. Banging from the ceiling and the room next door all day Saturday and starting early Sunday morning. Our room smelled heavily of chemicals. Wi-Fi is not available. Our friends in another room didn’t have running water. Completely unacceptable"

"This hotel is in a great location however I booed a 1 night stay for Oct 17 on the app. It did warn me there was construction activity but wow the extent. When I arrived it didn’t even look like I could get through the main entrance. Scaffolding is erected all the way around the building. I’m happy you are upgrading but this extent of construction makes it near impossible to accommodate overnight guests. I guess some are ok with it- I chose to stay elsewhere and drove away and just forfeited the $120 bucks. Really Hampton- do better, the rooms should be about $40 for this much activity. Breakfast isn’t even available right now. I look forward to staying once you’ve completed the renovation but as a long time Diamond member I was very disappointed- if I’d had the option to cancel the room and save my money I certainly would have."

"Room was great; staff was excellent. I only gave 3 stars because this place is under MAJOR RENOVATION. The ground floor is covered in plastic on the walls and is little more than a side hallway as most of it is cordoned off. They did their best with breakfast, but due to most of the hotel being remodeled, it was all pre-packaged, pre-cooked, even the boiled eggs. The cleaning staff was up and down the halls cleaning all day, so that was great. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. Just be aware that, currently, there is no pool access, scant breakfast, and construction equipment in the parking lot, and major remodeling on ground floor. That said, once renovations are done, I would gladly stay again."
