Dollar General,

"Only this store did we experience a gaslighting situation to what they failed on. Dollar General automated system or not, a coupon that was clipped didn't apply. They claimed they couldn't apply the coupon even after showing how it's there, and they are 5.50 off. But since they said they can't honor it, okay, then we would like a refund. What comes next is so weird. They didn't want to refund the full amount because "the system" said we already got a coupon for it when the receipt reflected none, lol. The lady started making up things, so I stepped in because you're not doing that today. And the other guy comes up to say "they holding up the line" like it's our fault. No, y'all were holding up the line trying to scam us! Then, they tried to say the total coupons honored for other items worth over 50 dollars were applied to the item, which it did not. I had to show them simple math and they did pay us back the rest in cash, but my, oh my, the gaslighting and to confusing the customers. We left shaking our heads. That's what we get for stopping by the one on the way lol"

"It's a great convenience store, with a good selection of products for a low price. Only issue, there are never enough people working behind the cash registers."

"UPDATE: Since the previous review, I have revisited this location a few times just to be sure but they have for the most part new staff and updated the store!! I was greeted and the staff seemed to have a more laid-back attitude. I understand working customer service is a very hard gig but they were all smiles and enjoying the time together. The last time clerks were arguing and were very bummy. The store seemed to have a better vibe. I like that!!! I love the items at Dollar General. The cashiers though just seem to hate their job at this location. I had a gentleman who checked me out and just seemed irritated. I get it you have those days however, leave it at the door just like everyone else has to do. I'll always shop at Dollar General, but will avoid this one."

"I have been going to this location for awhile now. Michael has shown excellent customer service and has been consistent with it EVERY time I’ve been in contact with him. Please give this man a raise, a promotion or something! He is truly a rare find! Michael, you are appreciated!"

"Love love love my dollar gen! Of the two close in the area, this is my fave to shop. The staff is a TRIP (in a good way!) And they feel like family at this point! They are quick to get customers seen and checked out and have such fun stuff at good prices!! Love you guys!!"
