"I can’t stop thinking about this place. I think I may have an addiction. I masochistically love heat, the spicy kind! And this is where I can feed my addiction. I love that we can sample everything, which makes sense bc it’s not like folks r taking giant shots of reaper suace (except me)! It’s fun to try the capsicum extract that requires a waiver to sample bc it’s considered dangerously spicy, afterall they use it in pepper sprays. And no, you cannot find these hot things in normal grocery stores, in fact the hottest I can ever find is ghost level sauces but they’re highly diluted and loaded with other junk ingredients that make them weak. (Tobasco scorpion is pretty much the only exception) But if u want puro, come here. And these guys know their stuff, they’re great to talk to! My favorite thing now is wicked reaper powder, specifically bc it’s a powder, & that pepper is as hot as u can get for a powder, & bc it is pure, so more bang for buck and it smells so ridiculously good; incredibly sweet & almost umami if that had a smell. So it doesn’t take much to get a nice bite, and I can dilute as needed, for example in the EVOO in my fav tomato/avocado salad with some sichuans to exaggerate the effect. So if you want spices that you can’t find at a grocer & want to have a fun time & sample before you buy, but most of all like spice, come here!"

"We had to look at this place 'cause our son is a mid-range pepper head. He tried a few samples and bought a few things. I enjoyed talking to the young man running the place and handing out free samples. They have a wide range of stuff from mild to sign a waiver. They had some cool t shirts with their logo and I got a good deal on one. I've been to a few other locations, they have three just in New Orleans."
