"Let's start with the good...the receptionist was very friendly and told me where to park so we would be close to our upstairs room. The shower was fantastic, with good water pressure and excellent temperature control. Now for the bad and scary stuff. We went up the outside stairs and noticed none of the access doors had locks on them, so anyone who wanted had access to the rooms. We found our room, which was a room except all the lights had been turned off at their bases so to turn them all on to find the one controlled buy the wall switch. It was a non-smoking room, but I thought I detected a very faint smell like cigarette smoke but didn't dwell on it. I turned the heater 68 degrees, which is what we were used to. However, the room got very cold. Long story short, I ended up setting the temperature to 74 just to keep the room cool. Getting ready to go have the continental breakfast, I looked up at the smoke detector and noticed it had a plastic trash bag wrapped around it, basically disabling it. The breakfast consisted of two types of dry cereal, or an apple, a sad banana, and 2 miniature cupcakes. At least the coffee was good. We went back, picked up our belongings, and headed out. I did tell the receptionist about the smoke detector."

"Guy at front desk was busy but stayed professional and got us a room pretty quick. The first light walking in our room did not work, tiles in bathroom looked like they were scrap pieces. Cleanliness was ok but not great."

"Not a bad place to stay the manager is what makes it a one star stayed there for a extended stay and he first try to charge me a extra 600 on my bill. Once I moved out due to my job I paid what was owed and left. 2 weeks later he charged my card and extra 650 and said he didn’t know I moved out it has been 4 weeks now and no refund and manager won’t answer my calls or return them. He is a thief in my book. So if you need to stay in Plainview I recommend spending the extra and staying somewhere that won’t scam you."

"A friend of mine stayed here they are nice people the place makes you feel safe and at home. For workers it's a great place the rooms are comfortable very close to all stores. Just an affordable room if you need a place to stay. They are dog friendly just a good old fashioned rent a room with all that you need"

"The welcoming at front desk was great. The manager Roger was the reason I gave it a 5 star, he and all the staff were friendly. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable. Everything at the hotel met our needs. Clean, quite and comfortable."
