"the guy that works there all the time is an absolutely disgusting human being . zero customer service, seemingly only to women, and speaks in a horrific tone to paying customers coming in with nice attitudes. it’s no one’s fault you hate your life dude, do something about it. if i ever have to step foot in this place again, God forbid, i’ll be asking for the corporate number. not a single worker in my life has ever made me do that so it should go to show you’ll wanna stay away from this place. there’s other better gas stations/marts with same priced items and better people."
"Store opening hours need to be updated. looks like they close at around 11 pm. Tried to shop at 10:50 pm, but the door is already locked. It wasn't a pleasant experience to be yelled at by a mopping employee in front of the locked entrance. Literally, I didn't say a word, just checked if the door is open and he yelled out NO!"
"I've lived close to this gas station for a little over a year now and never experienced any rude service, nor have I ever had anything negative to say about it in general. The clerks were always nice, and every time I've seen the owner, he's always very friendly and welcoming. I bought a can of baked beans about 2 hours ago and when I opened it up, it made my entire kitchen smell like rotten broccoli. I checked the date, and the expiration was for November 2021. Canned food when bought at the store usually expires between 3-5 years after purchasing, so this can of beans was at LEAST 3 years old. I do realize I should have checked the date for my own safety, but the truth is, I should not have to because it is the store's responsibility to ensure safety, ESPECIALLY when serving food. I would not have had such a problem, as I know people get busy restocking and sometimes misread the labels and dates. However, when I went back to the gas station and spoke to the clerk who sold it to me, he was near the coolers where all the seltzers are. He saw me and very rudely asked, "What's your problem?" I told him of the issues and told him that I opened the can but brought it with me for clarification since he did not give me a receipt. He responded with, "Oh, well, you should have checked it. That's not my job to check them, it's someone else's." He then told me to put the OPENED can of SPOILED food on top of a cooler where canned drinks are. I reminded him that it was already opened and there was liquid spilling from it, but he urged me to just set it down on top of the cans anyways and said, "Go look for another one. If they aren't good, I'll just give you your money back." His dialogue only led me to believe that he was well aware that there were other expired cans. Sure enough, the first one I looked at: July 2020. I was concerned about the safety of all customers being violated, so I read the dates out loud for people in line to hear. July 2020, August 2019, January 2021. While another employee came up to remove all the expired cans, the original clerk I was talking to cut me off saying, "Okay Okay that's fine, I will give you your money back." This is not just about me receiving what I paid for. This is a great concern, as there are several apartment complexes on UTSA Blvd where students simply do not have cars, and this is the only safe place for them to walk to for food. This business is responsible for our safety, and doesn't seem to care. Their money for a $3.00 can of food is not at all equivalent to the medical bills i could have paid for an illness this could cause. I am very disappointed and will more than likely be contacting the health department. Please make sure to check everything you buy from here."
"Prices are way too high and the people that work there are rude EVERY SINGLE TIME I shop in here. One night, I literally walked in on two workers BATTERING a guy with a wet floor sign, and the guy did nothing to them for it to escalate that way. Also, every time I go in there and try to buy something at night, there is one guy that won’t allow me to purchase my items, all because one time he called a customer “stupid” for no good reason and I corrected him on it. Look at the photos I attached of him FLIPPING ME OFF. Honestly, you’re better off going to the gas station down the street. They have better prices, the customer service is better, and they have a wider variety of stuff."
"One of the worst ran shops I've ever been in. The pumps seem like they're several decades old, and the staff are incredibly rude. Janitor almost tripped me several times with his mop while I was standing still and clerk accused me of stealing because I was... looking around... in a store. Yeah. Im going to be going elsewhere from now on even though they're more convenient. Hope they go out of business and someone who actually know how to run a store replaces them."
