"We went on the private tour museum—I HIGHLY recommend. Our tour guide was Rebekah (I believe she’s also a manager of the museum). She was so professional, courteous, and patient! My son is on the spectrum, and she was so excellent with him. He learned a lot as did I. He also got to make molds and help clean a gigantic femur. It was an excellent experience. I highly recommend!"
"This place was SO cool. I brought my 4 year old here with one of his friends, and 2 small babies tagged along as well. It was beyond words awesome. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and answered all of my 100 questions so in depth. This place is great for kids but I must say I think I might’ve enjoyed it the most out of all of us!"
"Awesome place! Learned so much about excavation, preparation, dinosaurs from 65MYA. Friendly helpful staff (students?) definitely worth the stop! You can see all the processes in action and a huge library of bones!!"
"I got a private tour from someone associated with the museum, so my experience might not be representative, but overall I found a lot of very interesting and engaging educational material packed into this small space. There are windows into the cleaning rooms, so if you go at the right time you will see them cleaning or repairing real fosiles. the story of the collection is fascinating, and most of the fosiles on display were collected by the university faculty and students. There is also a small gift shop."
"They had a really cool guided tour and let us hold a few bones. You do need a reservation and it costs 5 dollars per person."
