"Wanted bean and jalapeno, but got pork instead. Tamales tasted great, but a tad dry. Would go again to get the bean and jalapeno."
"We purchased 4 dzs of chicken tamales. 2 dzs out of the 4 were spoiled. They smelled like spoiled, curdled milk, I took them back for a refund, which I got. I understand that sometimes the chicken can go bad, however, the lady at the register took them to the back, came back and stated they tried them and they're fine. she was calling me a liar, i didn't appreciate her customer service, last time I go there and I'll share my experience with my coworkers"
"I get tamales here each year and they are always great but this year the pork tamales masa were raw. It was not edible. The bean ones were dry. They usually are very good but this year the tamales were not good at all."
"Thw tamales were extremely dry and tasteless. The corn tortillas are hit and miss. One time they were fine. The next time, hard/ old. And the last time (I will never buy there again) they tasted like limestone, a very bitter aftertaste. This place is totally overrated."
"First time trying; we got the pork and pork/jalapeno. I went around 10; only 1 person ahead of me. The staff was nice. I wish they had more of a variety; and by half dozen because they only sell by dozen. To me it was not enough masa and a bit too greasy for me. Other than that it wasn’t too bad."
