"First time here. We didn't have to wait long, made reservations on OpenTable. The food was great, lots to choose from. The only reason for 4 stars were the pancakes. They were cold, and I had to ask for butter, but nothing that would keep me from coming back. Our server was great, but he was sat 4 tables at once, so we knew he was busy. I used to be in the restaurant business, so we totally understood. I want to come back for dinner and try their liver and onions, not many restaurants serve this."

"Great experience. Easy access from Nacogdoches Rd. Plenty of parking. Great customer service. I got chicken fried chicken, delicious and perfectly cooked. Onion rings perfect! My husband got a perfectly cooked steak. The waiter continued checking on us. The restaurant decor is very interesting. We were in cowboy room, all ceiling cover with cowboys hats. And wall with cowboy boots. In the other room was a creative wall of Willy Nelson made of beer caps. The staff there is so friendly. We will be back."

"First time here after driving by it for years. Fried mushrooms were amazing and paired well with the ranch. Got the 10 oz chicken fried steak plate as is. Wish more gravy was on the dish especially on the mashed potatoes. Apple pie a la mode was perfect for ending the meal. Service was outstanding! Only negative I had was that the brown gravy I ordered on the side was extremely vinegary and tasted like it was days old."
