"My family and I attended the Haunted drive thru yesterday and unfortunately our experience was very unpleasant. We were informed the whole experience would take about 15 mins but to be patient because there were quite a few cars. It started off fine but at the second stop the vehicle ahead of us kept stopping and the young boys in it kept getting off and on for no reason. At one point they stopped and turned off their vehicle with no characters around just doing nothing. I had a lot of cars behind me that I turned my lights in to flash them and the young boys finally turned their vehicle on and proceeded to move. At the next stop by the bus there were several characters and these boys proceeded to get down when characters opened their doors and started chasing each other, getting on top of their vehicle, and what look to be them fighting. At that point I rolled up all my windows locked my doors and tried to find a way around them to continue moving and I was not able too cause they attempted to move and practically blocked the way so I had no clear way. They continued to do this at every stop where they would get down and interact with the characters wether it be take pictures or chase them. The whole experience ended being 2 hrs. Mind you I called during our drive to inform the lady what was happening about these boys fighting and they said they would attempt to call them to see what was happening but if they did I don't know because they were still doing it. At the end of it ai informed the security guard of what happened and to inform her to check on those characters and she said she would. She also mentioned they were wondering where all the cars were at because they had many cars still missing and should have been out a long time ago. I told her that all of us were stuck behind that vehicle so there was no way to pass them. I think this has great potential but they really need to find a way to resolve this and just keep cars moving steadily that way everyone gets to enjoy the experience. We were really looking forward to it but unfortunately our experience was not pleasant and VERY frustrating."
"This is a must do for families in Laredo. When you visit not only are you helping local business but also all the animals that are refuged here. It was such a unique experience handling them from such close proximity compared to being separated by glass panels at the zoo."
"It sucks there's no employee's really and then it's so much money for dirt and rocks and if you have a car the road up there is bad as well and the animals are without water there so thirsty I wouldn't go again never"
"Went for a birthday party and was completely impressed. I would highly recommend makes good few hours for the kids. There is food and other outdoor activities like zip line, 4 wheelers and indoor areas. The safari drive and petting zoo as you can see from pics is awesome"
"This little gem needs to be on Laredo's Top Things to Do in Laredo List!!! I was so impressed and pleasantly surprised. They have a surprising variety of wildlife that were clearly very well cared for. Their staff was friendly, eager to share information about the animals and the facility, and always making sure guests were properly attended. We even got to feed and pet a giraffe!! I initially felt it might be a little over priced, but by the end of our 3 hour adventure - I realized it was definitely worth every penny! I really hope Laredo gets out there to support them as this is one of the best family activities Laredo has to offer!! I can't wait to go back and see what new animals they bring into the adventure!"
