Meade Tractor of Mount Sterling, Kentucky

"Took a blower there to get fixed it wouldn't run.The hourly rate to look at it was ridiculous, it was $80.00 per hour or more , just to diagnose it. Was told they would call when they knew what it was. They called 2 weeks later and said it needed a carburator, I told them to go ahead and get. Went to pick it up a week later, was told that it still wasn't fixed that it had low compression because of the cylinder and piston was wore to bad not making enough compression to pull fuel through the carburetor. Paid them $ 260.00 and brought it home. Took blower to West Liberty Stihl dealer and cost me $30.00 for labor and $ 100.00 for part, and said he had cleaned carburator because it was bad. Was a carburator even put on at Meade in Mt. Sterling?. Will never take any thing to Meade in Mt.Sterling again . The blower runs and operates as it should , had always taken Stihl stuff to West Liberty before and will continue to. DONT TAKE YOUR STIHL PRODUCTS TO MEADE IN MT.STERLING."
