"Chris was very quick to respond. Called me on a Sunday evening and setup service for early the next morning. Two guys arrived when they said they would and immediately looked at the outside unit that I thought the motor was overheating and wouldn’t turn the fan blades. He explained to me that it was in defrost mode and that was normal operation and why it was blowing out cold air.The emergency heat would not heat and he had to climb a step ladder to get in the crawl space. He within minutes found that a wire had shorted out and he repaired it problem solved. He also changed a setting so cold air will not blow when the unit is defrosting. I was explaining to him what a pain it was to climb in there and change the filter. He went upstairs to look at the cold air return and suggested I find a filter size that would fit in it even if it meant having to build a small frame to hold it. As luck would have it a common filter size will fit it perfectly. They inspected our two gas furnaces while they were here and found they are in good condition requiring no maintenance. They were very courteous and gave me a much needed education on how a heat pump operates. Their company was recommended by Trane as a preferred service in the Mt. Sterling area.
