"Sent my gator in for annual maintenance. Got it returned with an extra 100 hours on it! They apologized. My gator barely ran afterwards so they agreed to pick it up for free and look at it. This time it came back with an extra 20 hours on it!! And it still ran like crap. So I looked at what could possibly be wrong and it was completely obvious, the alternator belt is slipping. Never again will I do business with these people. EDIT: Meade did send a guy out to look at our Gator so they get a star for trying to make it right. They did replace the hour counter so we are starting at zero again and also replaced the alternator belt all for free. While I love John Deere products I still will probably not be using them as a service center in the future. The manager explained that they have had a lot of turnover with mechanics and it is difficult to keep an eye on the quality of work being just one person, I can understand that. But I would rather not be apart of their learning curve or crisis."

"We have had issues with 800 series zero turn. The machine has been at the dealer multiple times this summer. The service department found an error by a technician. That error is what caused our issue and damaged the motor. They repaired the engine going above normal and included a great warranty on the engine."

Highly recommend buying from Meade tractor instead of big box stores. Plus the pricing is the same with a lot more services."
