"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to the amazing staff and especially Frank at the front desk. He went above and beyond working my reservations over the phone and making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. He was friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. He runs this hotel like a well-oiled machine and deserves all the praise. The rest of the staff was also fantastic, from the housekeeping to the breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location was convenient and close to many attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Dripping Springs. Thank you, Frank, for making my trip memorable! "We had the misfortune of booking this hotel for our wedding party of 9 rooms, only 1 of which ended up staying at this location. We found out on our check in day, the day before our wedding, that they had been having AC issues for the past month. According to the manager, Matt Seoo, it’s not standard practice to notify guests of AC issues, even in the Texas heat, prior or their arrival. The hotel staff placed a majority of our guests on a floor without hallway AC. Our guests who tried to check in noted the hallway felt like a sauna and the room ACs were unable to adequately cool. Upon booking a hotel, we had the assumption that the bare minimum accommodations would be provided. We were offered to move two of our reservations to the first floor, with functioning AC, but this left the rest of our party without such luxury. Matt was “gracious” enough to cancel our reservations without fees, which should have been standard as we booked the hotel with the assumption of functioning AC. We were fortunate enough to be able to book with the Courtyard Marriot across the street, even though we had to deal with the last minute stress and payment this caused. Everyone aside from the manager himself cooperated as much as they were able to, however he seemed unable to accept responsibility for anything going on, and claimed that there was no issue. If you end up staying at this location hopefully everything goes perfectly, as any potential incidents will not be resolved by him."

"The staff was incredible. Everyone we came across was friendly and approachable. They knew the area and were very helpful. They are a shining 5 stars. Front desk and housekeeping and maintenance we're all very hospitable. We had a couple of issues in our room which we brought to the staffs attention and they handled them with courtesy. The hotel appeared to be fairly new, however, there we're areas that were in need of attention (dried spills in the elevator that were there during our three day stay, stains on the carpet on our floor, housekeeping carts left in a hallway all day. To be fair, they may have been shorthanded, as I saw the same housekeeping person during my entire stay. The only true negative was with how easy it was to hear people talking in the halls and doors closing, while I was in my room with the AC running. I kept thinking someone was coming into my room! I can't say that I have ever had this issue at a Holiday Inn Express, especially one this new. I would definitely stay here again, but would request a room on the top floor or end of a hallway, away from stairs."
