"I’ve never left a review before, but honestly, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Before I even left the table, lashes were falling off. This was after I laid there for almost 2 1/2 hours. I asked my stylist if it usually takes this long (knowing it does not since I’ve been getting individuals for years) and she said “well Im new and this glue is giving me problems.” I should’ve got up then, but I knew I would still be charged. I decided to push through the entire two and a half hours. Once I looked at the work she did, I almost cried. Lashes were missing, they were not full, and it was not the style I asked for. I went straight to my car, looked in the mirror, and immediately went back in and asked for a manager. I was told a manager was not there, and I asked for my money back. The stylist became upset and started to make comments like “you said you wanted long!”. I explained to her that it wasn’t that they were long. I asked for mega volume and they were extremely thin. Mind you I was missing lashes on each of my corners. She walked away without any response and the receptionist (she had glasses) at the front said she would call me, because I was in a rush to get my sister from school, who had been standing outside for an hour. While I was picking up my sister, I received a call from the same receptionist saying that she spoke with her manager, and that they would offer me a refund and remove the lashes. I explained that I was allergic to the lash removal, which I explained to my stylist before she started the service. I also am leaving for a consecutive 15 night trip out of the country the next day, which made this so much worse. I told her I would take the refund and figure out another way to remove the lashes. I also mentioned that I was not aware that the Stylist I was working with was new. Once I mentioned, this, the reception argued with me, saying she wasn’t new. I explained that I was only telling her what the Stylist Told me. We agreed on the refund and hung up. About 15 minutes later she called me back and aggressively said “my manager is not giving you a refund since you wont come back for the removal”. I reminded her that I would be on vacation for a long period of time and that the last time I had my lashes removed at Amazing Lash Studio, the remover cause my eyes to swell shut for over a week. While explaining this, the reception is cut me off to say “ you’re going to quit yelling at me.” I’m sure there was frustration in my tone, but I was not yelling at her. I even explain to her that I’m a little stressed out, but was not yelling at her. She said “well I dont like the way your talking to me.” I responded with, “Well you do not seem to care that I was dissatisfied with my service. She laughed and I asked her for her name. She refused to provide that info, of course. I asked to have the manager contact me and hung up. I’m honestly just hurt that I have to go on vacation with raccoon eyelashes and no resolution. I’ve purchased a membership for my sister, and I am thinking about canceling it. This was the second time I’ve had a bad experience at this particular location while every other location I have visisted since 2015 have good service and a wonderful heavily trained stylist. Looking at these reviews, it seems the receptionist and lack of quality stylist have been a problem for a while. I have confirmations for my international trips if needed. I’d honestly like a manager to contact me. But based on the reviews, it doesn’t seem like management will be helpful. In the photos you can see that I am missing lashes on the sides, and they do not appear full. The service was done less than 8 hours ago."
"Virginia is the best! Been going to her for over a year now and she doesn’t disappoint. After moving here from California, it took me forever to find someone that does my lashes with the same quality I was used to. She exceeds my expectations every time. Definitely recommend her if you go to this location!"
"I was charged a credit and percentage of volume lashes fee for canceling the day of my appoint due to a sudden eye infection. Now I understand there is a cancellation policy, but would you rather me show up and expose studio staff and stylist to something contagious? This was beyond my control and considering the 9 yrs I’ve been a member, this could’ve been waived, especially with it being my first same-day cancellation. I called in multiple times to speak with a manager and each time I was told the manager wasn’t in. I was also told the manager was not available and the reason that I had not received a call yet was because I wasn’t at the top of the “callback” list, Ha! This was well past the 48hr callback window I was given. After going in-person for my newly scheduled appointment, again, I asked for the manager… Nowhere to be found of course. Front desk had no approximate time the manager would be in. I’m assuming managers don’t have schedules at this location and can just come in whenever they feel like it. It would be a shame to see this location closed down just as Atascosita did, considering there are good stylists here."
"The manager is incompetent. She does not equip her front desk staff with any information which also leads customers to believe they are just as slow as she is. I have been serviced at many amazing lash studios and this one, Summerwood, lacks leadership and knowledge. Ladies and gents if you have any type of escalations, going to the manager is the last thing you should do. Idiocy is the manager’s specialty. How embarrassing & worthless!"
