"UPDATE: My previous review was from March. I visited yesterday (9/12/2022) and I finally found my person! I have been to this location 5 times this year. I've had good experiences (and 1 not so good), but yesterday knocked it out of the park! Maria was fantastic! I booked a 1-hour full body massage. From the start, I could tell this was going to be a good massage. Maria was friendly, attentive and listened. She might be mini, but she's mighty! I was impressed with her ability to deliver good pressure to my spots of concern (lower back) and yet her hands were super soft. Many times, with a full body massage, the therapist won't do the hands and feet, but Maria did. She seemed to know pressure points in those areas as well. She even massaged my knees. I wouldn't have thought that was a spot that needed attention, but apparently, it did. I do not have a membership, but after my experience yesterday, I am seriously considering one. Maria came from another facility, and I bet she is missed very much. Maria, thank you for making my day. I will be back! A+++++++++ Hand & Stone is always exceptionally clean, the staff are all very helpful, the inside smells so good and it is very quiet. The location is perfect. Park and walk right in; no stress getting inside. I walked out feeling light as a feather, stress free and loose in the previously tight spots. I love this place! (March 2022) I booked an hour massage. It was not a full hour. I arrived for my 3 o'clock appointment at 2:58. Signed in and was escorted back at 3:04. Undressed and therapist came back in the room at 3:08. My appointment ended at 3:54 (there is a digital clock on the counter in the room). I clocked the entire session because I wanted to know if it would really be a full hour. I wouldn't be so particular about the time except I was in a lot of pain due to a knot in my shoulder blade. I needed all the time I sign up for that day. My masseuse, Henry (can't remember the initial of his last name; non asian Henry), did a great job and made me feel comfortable, but an hour is an hour. They should communicate the time frame better if it won't be a full hour. After my massage, the girl at the front asked me if I wanted to purchase the membership. I declined. I fully intended on purchasing a membership if I was happy with the service. I have chronic shoulder pain and thought this would be the best way to alleviate it with monthly visits. I never imagined the time frame would be the issue. I left feeling a little disappointed and now I on the search for my possible new place. Location is great, place is very clean, website is user friendly, the therapist I had was good. What a shame to have a 3 star review because the hour was not an hour. (still tipped Henry 20%) Again, if I am purchasing the membership in hopes to ease my shoulder pain and I need the full hour, why would I purchase it if it won't be the time I need? (truly hate complaining, but I feel others need to be aware of this.)"
