Cinemark Lancaster Movies 14

"Went with friends last night to watch the Chosen. We experience the worst customer service possible by a supposed manager. It was the last show and at intermission we went looking for water no one was at the counter so we went to grab a cup of water out of our vehicle then we were met by two staff members that rudely told us we couldn’t bring it in- understandable, we asked to purchase water and they denied that as well. We left the water outside and went to grab our spouses so they could drink water (not inside the theater) with in that time frame of less than two minutes the staff threw our cup away and made the biggest scene and tried to throw us out of the theater- all this for simply wanting a drink of water. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional- we are contacting corporate. This is a shame of staff members to act like this after I bragged about how cool and friendly they are. PS get your policy’s in order if you’re going to enforce your rules becuase I’ve been there before and been allowed to simply bring a bottled water to a late show when there’s nothing for sale anymore- Completely disappointed in you Lancaster cinemark."

"This location has improved a lot. It's pretty empty most of the time and that is due to how it was before (old, dirty, stale hot air inside, dirty seats ripping at the seams) but it has been renovated and the seats are all replaced and thr staff keep it clean. The staff are also very nice and greet everyone. The popcorn was hot and fresh and the seats were comfortable. Cleaning staff were waiting at the end of the movie to clean, so they were on top of it. We enjoyed our outing and will definitely come back since this location is a lot cheaper than other movie locations. It's even cheaper on Tuesdays!"

"Card machine in game room broken. Son wasn't able to play and they didn't have alternatives or a way to get cash or card. Main thing my son wanted to do. The Theatre was clean though, concession worker was nice and sound was good. Chairs small but rock and were comfortable"

"I hadn't been to this theater in years. I recently went to see The Color Purple. Good movie. The theater has great prices. The theater rooms are nice with comfy chairs. I noticed that there are now assigned seats. I liked it better with first come first serve. I didn't get to see the arcade area, nor did I visit the concession. Overall I like the place."

"So I haven’t been to this theater in about a year and things have drastically changed! I took my family here to watch Fast X and felt unsafe as we parked our car. There were kids loitering around in large groups and cursing at each other, acting violently. This was the first red flag that made me feel uncomfortable. Thankfully it was a better encounter when I walked up to the counter. I showed them my military ID and they gave me my discount. We walked in and as we waited for our snacks there were woman arguing with someone with management. Next we walk up to the counter thankfully he was very sweet took my order and I thought maybe the outside is what was bad. As SOON as we walk into the theater there was trash everywhere!? There were spilled pickles on the floor drinks in the drink holders, popcorn spilled everywhere, the seats were sticky!? It was absolutely disgusting. I understand this location is in a much lower income area but Cinemark please do better. You have officially lost 7 members that have been coming here for years and multiple members of my community. Thankfully I was able to tell a manager (Lashanda) and she was able to get someone in to try to clean before more people came in but apparently they stop cleaning after 10& the shift beforehand had failed to do their job which I have heard has been happening more and more often. I appreciate her professionalism and disappointment in the scene she witnessed with me. Overall the one star is for the three people I came across and were kind enough to either hear me out or fix the problem. As far as the theater I give it no stars."
