"Dr. TiAmmaso’s staff leaves much to be desired. I have consistently had problems getting calls back. When I’ve tried to voice my concerns about this to the front desk who answers they have been noticeably short and irritated. I have been trying to schedule a laser treatment with this office for months. If this particular laser were offered anywhere else close to me I would go elsewhere."
"The dr. consulted with me for under 5 minutes. They examined several small very itchy sores on my face and diagnosed me with acne. (I have never had acne not even as a teen) I was prescribed a cream that I used for a month that didn’t work because I didn't have acne. Finally, an acquaintance in the medical field gave me a small sample medication for pustular rosacea. My face cleared up in less than a week. I now keep a tube of Soolantra at all times. I had no idea that my work stress could cause rosacea. I know dr.’s are busy, but try asking more questions rather than defaulting to the easy answer. Im sure that approach probably works for you sometimes. For over a year I held professional meetings and attended social gatherings with small itchy sores all over my face, nose, forehead, and cheeks. I was embarrassed. When I went to this office I was like a cow being pushed through a shoot so they could get to the next one. Your dr.’s should ask more questions. This should have been resolved much quicker than it did. Side note: Before you respond with I should have followed up… why would I? Truly, the impression the dermatologist gave was that she was busy and needed to see other patients."
"I went in a few months ago and saw Dr. Elmer and pretty much never heard back from them/her after that. They prescribed me medications and never followed up to see how it was going or even scheduled a second visit to see/check for themselves. When I call, I get put on hold forever and then I am told to leave a message, that they also never get back to me about. Showed no interest in helping me from day 1 pretty much, just wanted to prescribe me something and get their money it seems like. I waited for 45 mins for Dr. Elmer and she saw me for 5 mins, if that. Should’ve picked a different place from the beginning, but even after the bad reviews they already had, I still decided to give them a try. Would NOT RECOMMEND to anyone. Horrible service."
"The worst experience ever in a doctors office!!! I was so hopeful that Dr. DiTomasso could help with my psoriasis issue but it has been nothing but communication issues with staff. I don’t understand when you call the office you don’t speak to the location you are calling!! The representatives are rude and can never get a hold of the MA of Dr. DiTomasso. I have never had issues with it getting in contact with my doctors and actually get to speak with them over the phone. I have called now four times and every time I get a response “ The MA of Dr. DiTomasso is busy and so is Dr. DiTomasso. I can send them a message”. Never get a response back or call back. I shouldn’t have to make an appointment to talk to the doctor! Reading the other reviews I can now see that everyone is having issues with communicating with the doctors and getting their medication filled. You would think that “Derma” would realize that they need to make time for their patients they have and actually call them back or fill prescriptions. Instead they just rather overbook and not make time for everyone. Good Luck everyone!"
"*Edit* Dr. DiTomasso had someone reach out to me directly and sincerely apologized for the issues and got things taken care. (Like I said below, she's awesome). Updated my star review because of this.* My daughter is a patient of Derm SA and so far I have been less than impressed. Dr. DiTomasso has been great with her, and very willing to answer her questions, but she has been about the only positive so far in our experience with them. Every time we've come we've been told by whichever MA is helping us that they will put in my daughter's prescription right away, and every time they do not. I have had to literally call every single time, after waiting days, to get them to put in her prescription. As of me writing this, my daughter was seen a week ago, her prescription that was supposed to be placed that day hasn't been placed and I've called multiple times asking for an update and keep getting the run around and told "we have 24 - 48 hours to respond". I work in healthcare, I know how quickly prescriptions are supposed to be filled. This aint it."
