"HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED, this gym made me pay 20$!!!! for 24 hours!!! Ridiculous I went with my friend with a guest pass and they still made me pay!! Never coming here again, 20$ down the drain for machines to be broken and rude and selfish staff."
"Great place to workout. Excellent trainers that help you achieve your goals. If you ever need a trainer ask for Alex. He is amazing and pushes you to your limit. Also you may run into friendly people that will cheer you on."
"Nice place, very clean. Two floor location so there is plenty of space and options for cardio. Personally, loved the 4 lane pool, sauna and racquetball courts. There are also other sports rooms, however to be honest they didn't draw my attention so I can't recall. May also be minor to some, but the water fountains actually give cold, refreshing water"
"This location is only getting worse. I had a walk-through of the Highland Village, TX location in mid-October. Since then, the only change made was the hiring of an additional Janitor and this abductor machine, cable "repair." This weekend, I sent a message to report the lack of customer care. It was past 0900 hrs and the crowd outside had been waiting for the location to open since 0800 hrs. It is a foregone conclusion that this must be your worst location and one that siphons revenue off of successful locations in order to stay afloat. Go look at Club4 in Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX | CLUB4 Fitness) and tell me they are not outpacing you. I pay less for that membership per month than I do for LA Fitness and I have unrestricted access (scan my app at the door and go in), red-light therapy, tanning, aqua-massage tables, new equipment, and the list goes on. We discussed the following: Equipment Issues: --Every piece of equipment (save a couple of dumbbells) has a degree of rust. --Abductor/adductor machines need attention. Just take a look at this stellar repair job. No new cable, just a $5 crack job from Lowe's. --Broken benches --Hamstring curl machines missing required spring tension on lower leg swing arm portion. I have strained my hamstring as a result of this piece popping out of position during an exercise set. Would you like me to send that medical bill, or do you prefer I get my legal team involved? --Dirty carpet which increases the risk of staph infections (trust me it's coming) --Busted cardio equipment (stair climbers, ellipticals, treadmills, bikes). Most every piece of cardio equipment has issues. You mentioned a solution which required wiring upgrades to the HV location. Still nothing done and no advertisement to the customer base. --Permanent piss stains and smells in the men/women's restrooms/saunas. --The men's sauna is still consisting of burnt/rotten wood, an outdated heating element, and permanent water calcification areas. --Mold in the shower areas --Just one single foam roller for everyone to share. --Ripped/torn workout mats --Light timers in the parking lot have yet to be adjusted. This is a security risk for people, Can we get a gauge of how far down the hole you are wanting this place to go? If you have no plans to update/upgrade for two years, it seems reasonable that closing the doors permanently is a more viable option."
"Current member, but will not be renewing. Hate to leave a bad review, but I've had enough. Equipment is in mediocre shape at best. They schedule programming in the pool every evening, so good luck swimming if you hold a regular job. But worst of all is the amount of teens that run around, causing a mess and goofing around without staff doing anything about it. After school hours, this is their hangout. They literally vandalize the place on a regular basis/ film videos in the changing area/ run around and disrupt workouts, and the staff doesn't care or do anything about the multiple members that complain. Poor excuse for an LA fitness"
