"I love that my dog doesn’t sit in a crate all day, but is with other dogs and an employee. The video cam is fun to use to check on her. I had her bathed and she was so clean and soft. Loved bringing home a clean dog!"

"The only bright spot of Dogtopia is typically the staff will be very friendly when they greet you. Thereafter, unfortunately, they do not respect your requests when asking to keep larger dogs separated from smaller dogs. I'm not sure how those with small dogs feel but my dog (being 11lbs) should not be able to play with a dog that is 20, 25lbs, 30lbs or more. Those dogs easily double to triple my dog's size and can hurt him just with a hard pounce. They claim to always have a highly trained person in the room with the pups but it's a simple group of people that have pets of their own and no certifications of any kind. While attempting to watch the camera as I was on a business trip, I watched the attendant in the room clean up all the dog waste constantly accruing not allowing them to pay attention to my dog who was constantly cornered by larger dogs and at certain points my dog was mounted by other larger dogs. When I called in to report it and request the behavior to be stopped and looked out for, a woman picked up with a terrible attitude and completely disregarded my request then attempted to hang up the phone multiple times. This is unsettling when you go away and leave your dog the care of a person like this. Which brings up another issue being that they turn off the cameras pretty frequently and make it difficult to check in on your pup. Finally, my last gripe is that they DO NOT take your dog outside. To those who maintain sloppy dogs you will not have a problem with this, although to those with housebroken pets, you should not leave your dog here. In less than 2 days' time boarded at this facility my dog was trained to defecate and urinate indoors through the positive reinforcement he received while joining the other 20 dogs in the room in peeing and pooping on the floor wherever they saw fit. This is a major problem seeing that he has now ruined a carpet in my apartment and that will be a cost to me. They will give you excuses as to why they cannot take your dog outside for walks, but the reality is they do not establish themselves at a facility where they have an outdoor area for daytime play or scheduled walks. Incredibly sad I am going to have to re-potty-train my 7month old puppy that I just finished housebreaking not long ago."
