"They get rid of unwanted hair and by numbing you it goes by much better."
"My technician was so amazing and did such great, fast work. I'm terrified of needles and pain, but she really helped get me through the session and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Can't wait to schedule my next appointment!"
"The the full facial electrolysis clearing seemed to do what it's supposed to, that is to remove the in-growth hair and the local anesthetic did its job. Early on, things seemed to be going as expected. The injections hurt an exceptional amount, we’re talking a non-exaggerated 8-9 on the pain scale, but I'm willing to deal with that level of pain for the results. I seemed to be fairly sensitive to the injections and needed to pause after a few as they wracked my system. That’s fine. Like I said, I was willing to put up with it. My problem instead was with the demeanor and perceived knowledge of the techs. In the beginning, both techs were fairly personable, but that seemed to change after about the halfway point. It was as if they felt I was inconveniencing them by making them wait an extra one to two minutes between sets of injections to let my body calm down. Minutes I was paying them to wait. The clock didn’t stop and I didn’t expect it to. I seem to remember something about a tech mentioning happy hour. Regardless of the reason, the state of your client (you are not a doctor, nor a provider, and I am not your patient) should be at least somewhat important to you. As a side note, if you go, ask about a neck pillow and watch as they huff and bluster and say “it’ll only get in the way.” I’m talking about a tiny pillow for the back of your neck, not one you’d bring to an airport. But that’s all fine too. They waited and I got my neck pillow. I’d be okay if that was it. But that wasn’t it. I was curious why they only used lidocaine (with epinephrine). There’s longer lasting local anesthetics out there, such as bupivocaine and articaine to name a couple. But the answer was, “I don’t know what those are. But, lidocaine already stings, would you really want something that probably hurts even more?” Speaking of the reason lidocaine stings, it’s pretty simple… lidocaine is acidic. If you’ve been to a good dentist, you might be giving these statements an odd look, because those injections usually don’t hurt beyond the insertion. How to prevent the pain is literally an internet search away. You even out the pH. That’s it. That’s all that has to be done. In the case of added epinephrine... yep, you guessed it! You even out the pH! There are numerous scientific journal publications on this, some of which are free! Okay, so that has to be it, right? Well, almost. The techs said that the anesthesia for most clients (again, you’re not a provider) is around three to four hours. That seems pretty accurate, as epinephrine usually increases lidocaine’s duration of action. Mine lasted only around 90 minutes. Epinephrine was definitely present as noted by the racing heart, so that wasn’t the issue. Instead, I told the tech that my body seems to process epinephrine faster than most, as my doctor noted after many topical anesthetic experiments. She responded, “You mean lidocaine.” I replied, “No, I mean epinephrine, the thing that causes vasoconstriction?” I received a blank, disbelieving stare in return as if questioning that I, a “patient,” could possibly know what I was talking about. As to why the response may cause some to blink: in layman’s terms, anesthetics like lidocaine work by preventing nerves from sending signals, which means it has to be present around said nerves. Lidocaine is primarily metabolized in the liver which requires the lidocaine to not be around said nerves. Epinephrine, on the other hand, causes the blood vessels in the area to shrink, AKA vasoconstriction, keeping the lidocaine from being absorbed into the blood stream. TL;DR: to summarize, I will not be a returning client. Not only is their bedside manner and sympathy lacking, but their knowledge, or lack thereof, about clinical, restricted anesthetic procedures beyond the basics is concerning at best. Will it ever amount to an issue? Maybe not. But I won’t bet my future on “maybe.” It makes sense why they make you sign a “you cannot, will not, and shall not ever under any circumstances in any way whatsoever sue us or even think about suing us” waiver."

"My wife is transgender. If you are looking for they sweetest most kind people in the world to help you than this is your place. Besides the fact that they numb you up before they work on you, they also make you feel like long lost family. If I could give a rating of 100 I would. These ladies are just wonderful. The service quality is amazing too. They really know what they're doing and it really shows. We would not go anywhere else even if someone paid us to."
