"Stayed at Home 2 Suites McAllen for the weekend and requested the honeymoon package for a little extra and they did an amazing job decorating the room, it was perfect! My partner and I enjoyed it so much, I would definitely recommend doing this to get the most out of your vacation!"

"I was surprised by how nice this hotel was. Nice spacious rooms with a full kitchen. Breakfast was pretty good and the service overall was a nice experience. It was cool to see they have a nice pool and bbq grills for guests to use. Would definitely go back."

"I am a Hilton Honors member and this is the first time I come across a dishonest employee who took an item that belongs to me. This piece that has a sentimental value was accidently left behind. In an attempt to recover it I spoke with Ms. Miriam Aguilar, who is the GM of the Hotel, she was nice and sweet when I spoke with her in the morning, she promised me to call me back with details of her findings. After 7 hours of waiting I followed back with her who did not have time time to speak with me, instead she passed the message onto someone else just to say they didn't find anything. I don't know what changed with the sweet and nice lady I spoke with in the morning, but obviously it is unacceptable for an employee to take something that does not belong to her/him. I am not planning to return to a place where I can't trust their employees."

"Great location for the convention center, shopping, and restaurants. Very friendly staff and a decent breakfast. They have social nights with drinks as well. My only complaint is the mattress not being very comfortable."

"My husband stayed here for 8 weeks for a job and I flew down to stay with him the last 2 weeks. Very clean and spacious hotel, my standards are much higher than my husbands as far as organization and cleanliness, and I can honestly say that this was a great place to stay! The staff is so responsive and helpful, room service was wonderful, always restocking, cleaning, but avoiding moving our stuff around. Breakfast was great as well and coffee is always fully stocked! The room we had included a small kitchen area and they provided us with pots/pans and a hot skillet, so I was able to cook a decent meal during our stay! Very walkable area, there’s lots of coffee, restaurants, and shopping within a mile. If my husband gets stationed here again we will love staying at Home2 in McAllen! A great stay overall!"
