"Would not recommend at all! If I could give no stars I would. Room was very dusty and dirty especially the bathroom. There was hair in the bathtub and every corner was dirty and dusty didn’t even look like anyone swept or wiped anything down. Pictures on website are deceiving. I would’ve atleast thought I’d be able to get a good nights rest as I’m traveling a 24 hr roadtrip, but no. Walls are paper thin and you can hear every conversation someone is having and all night I could hear the person in the other room sneezing and coughing all night. Tv remote didn’t even work either had to go ask front desk for new batteries. Overall bad experience. Main thing for me is how dirty it was. If you’re stopping in Van Horn FIND A DIFFERENT PLACE!"

"I was hoping this would be a simple, clean, no-frills stay based on reviews. Our room had something dirty and sticky in the floor and there was trash left in the window sill. On a Monday morning the breakfast options were waffles, toast, oatmeal and an apple or orange. We stayed at this location on our way to Dallas for a wedding and had planned to stay in the same place on the return trip, but we quickly changed our minds (our group booked 3 rooms and 2 out of 3 were dirty in some way). If you want a cleaner stay and an extensive hot breakfast, do yourself a favor and spend a few more bucks and stay across the street at the Holiday Inn."

"The room was clean, the shower was nice and hot (the shower handle came off though), and the staff was excellent, especially the evening lady. Check in and out was easy. The walls are a bit thin, as I heard my neighbor's TV well into the night, and my brother's room was on the highway side, which kept him awake a lot of the night. The continental breakfast was very minimal. No cereal, no milk, no bananas, only apples. No butter, just "spread," whatever that is. No yogurt. No hard-boiled eggs. The waffle machine was good. The juices just came out water, except for the cranberry cocktail. The coffee was from a machine, not brewed. Overall it was ok for a budget hotel, for one night only."

"Stayed there last night and it was great for the price! We arrived at midnight and checked out at 6 Am. The front desk lady was extremely nice! The beds were comfy and rooms were very clean! Would definitely stay here again!"

"We arrived tired but the clerk at desk put us at ease by being friendly, informative & very patient with us. The lobby was very clean & welcoming. Breakfast area also very clean. The room was clean & we had a bonus of a sofa to sit & watch TV instead of sitting on the bed."
