"I have lived down the street from this store for 5 years now and it has been a constant and consistent disappointment. This must be the store where they send all the new managers or ones that aren't doing well, because none of the Departments are run properly, and neither is the store as a whole. The bakery department has always been the worst in the 5 years I've been shopping there, but now every other department is catching up to it. Most of the time you go in this store they're not going to have any french bread, any french sticks, any sub rolls or white bread in general in the bakery. They either need to remodel the store completely and expand it or just get rid of it because it is absolutely subpar as far as HEBs go"
"I have experienced micro-aggressions at this location more than once by one specific partner. I have written to the customer relations department due to this particular partners behavior. I do not feel comfortable at this HEB after the last event as the partner involved over stepped her boundaries and another partner then appeared to take my underage child's and my photo but never approached me. Please note it is the angle at which she held her phone that made it appear as though she had done so. I work hard to give people chances and ignore what appear to be Micro-aggressions as being someone of mixed race and ethnicity I keep an open mind, however, this individual has proven to be snarky and has now solidified my initial understandings to be true. Just editing to say, 1) thank you to HEB HQ for commenting so quickly. 2) upon reading other reviews of this location, I have decided I will definitely never choose to visit this location again. It seems to be a common factor and how sad it is that at the end of 2023 the same store is still having issues. Perhaps a revamp and continued education on truly being the change could help at this location. As noted in my email to customer relations I am staying anonymous as I have family members who are HEB partners and I do not want this to affect them in anyway. All the best to this HEB. I will stick to the more welcoming store locations who truly are inclusive and welcome diversity."
"I've noticed some new cashiers lately. I won't name names, but tonight I bought a Christmas ornament and a nutcracker. The HEB brand of knickknacks makes me smile! The checker threw the ornament in with my groceries with no wrapping and left the nutcracker with nothing. I spoke up and said that those things needed to be wrapped with care. She threw her hands up, and in a very irritated and sassy tone asked me what I wanted to do about it because she didn't have anything to wrap them in. Then she took two paper towels and sloppily wrapped them around the ornament and called it a day. Then she called me rude for taking my receipt. This is my neighborhood HEB. I shop here ALL the time. I'm so thankful that the managers have good problem-solving people skills. The manager took me to floral and helped wrap my keepsakes up so I could get them home ok. I noticed that I'm not the only one leaving a review about the "customer service" here. It sounds to me like HEB needs to do some training on hospitality and keeping attitudes in check. I shouldn't be treated like dog do. Period. HEB is more than just a grocery store. They sell nice home goods and to not have materials to wrap things in at every checkout is unacceptable. Thank you to the manager who cared and did right."
"Seth the guy at curbside is just amazing. No matter what happens (item out of stock, one time they missed some items, ect.) he is always more than happy to help. Normally everything runs smoothly but stuff happens, we are all human. I don’t think I would continue to shop at this H‑E‑B if he and others like him weren’t there to help. I guess unless he’s given a promotion that he so clearly deserves. Easy access to food is something most of us take for granted, I feel lucky to have the curbside team, especially Seth, at this H‑E‑B there to make it fast and easy."
"Fastest in-and-out HEB I've ever been in I've already come to love dislocation versus the other H-E-B locations cuz of the way they arranged things I was able to quickly get in grab what I wanted at the sushi bar and she'll check out and get out in under 5 minutes which is unheard of at any of the other H-E-Bs also was able to go to the back and get some meat love the way they organised this especially with the way they organised an entire aisle for the alcoholic beverages as well as making it easy to get in and out of this place!"
