"This daycare is a very nice place to bring your kiddos and you will not regret it. My toddler's teachers are very sweet and compassionate. She always desires to go to daycare, she reminds me everyday of how much she loves her teachers which to us parents means the teachers are doing a great job by giving them attention whenever they need it, and they treat all kids equally. I will recommend this place to mothers."
"We love Kiddos of Katy. We’ve been here for almost a year now and it’s been a great experience. Our daughter and her cousin love it here and they enjoy their time with their teachers. They have a great app for staying up to date on my kids’ daily activities."
"First, let me begin by saying that I have a very high standard for any preschool environment that my children are attending (particularly because they are there a large portion of the day while I am working and now managing the care of my senior mother and what they learn and how they learn truly matters to me). Their previous school did a phenomenal job of providing outstanding care and I had hoped for the same in this environment (that is more conveniently located to our home). There were several concerning matters I shared with the director Ms. Nora and Ms. Liz that seemed to be understood by them and therefore after much consideration I decided to remove my children from the day care program without notice (because I was clear with my disappointment of this childcare environment). My primary issue was that after one week of enrollment, I still had no idea what my children were learning each day. Neither of their teachers uploaded any progress updates or activity updates and after a week of attendance, my son still did not have even a profile picture taken and uploaded and neither my son or my daughter had an assigned cubby they could refer to when arriving each day. I called the school several times to inform them that I received no daily reports on my son (who is two) and odd daily reports for my daughter (who is four) that simply had, for instance, a picture of her smiling and it said “Mecca has a great day she says her favorite part of the day was because she loves hot dogs” and a picture of daughter and my son that says “Mecca’s such a great big sis”. Neither of these comments had anything to do with brain stimulating and learning activities either of my children did during the day and I was highly disappointed in the juvenile progress report uploads. I thought that the staff was nice but they seem to hire very young women who may be just starting their early childhood education experience. They were nice but I really did not feel comfortable with their level of experience. I appreciated several teachers recognizing my children were very smart but it almost seemed like they were not used to having children of that same level of intelligence in the childcare center. That largely concerned me! I also felt that one of the teachers in particular had a poor attitude and probably did not need to be looking after my child - this was after I saw twice her matter-of-fact attitude my child’s first week of school. I walked my daughter to her classroom and my daughter had to use the potty. Not taking into consideration my daughter was still new or that a friendly reminder would have been more helpful, the teacher said “she knows where the bathroom is” from her teacher check in seat where she was checking in the arrival of the students. She asked for my daughters name a few times after my daughter had been in her presence at least three times. Teachers who lack attention to detail should, in my opinion, are in the wrong profession. I really thought Jocelyn and Liz were exceptional but outside of that, I really did not feel 100% confident in the staff. There were also little things that were just flat out disappointing - my daughter coming home on the first day and telling me the classrooms were dirty, seeing “hamburger helper” on the list for what my daughter had to eat, my two year old’s classroom teacher serving doughnuts for breakfast and learning that my daughter would not be able to attend any field trips because she wasn’t five yet (but will be turning five)* I understand that policy and after thinking about it I’m not sure I would have felt secure enough with the chaperoning of this childcare center on a field trip. This childcare center may be ideal for someone who is looking for straight up babysitting but that is not what I was interested in. Ms. Nora and Ms. Liz did make attempts to rectify my concerns and for that I appreciate the efforts and provide one star."
"My son has been going here for about 7 months and we absolutely love it. The owner & director are really great. His teacher is AMAZING (all of the staff is)! I was a little nervous for him to start, but they have made us feel right at home. They also are really receptive to what his speech therapist and ECI therapist recommend for him, and the daycare is really committed to helping him succeed and blossom. I 10/10 recommend!"
"The facility is extremely clean and well managed. My daughter loves her class and teacher. She comes home telling me about all that they do during the day. I like it because it gets them ready for elementary like transitions from the gym to recess. It gives kids a sense of what will come when they are ready for school. They also have the newest schedule/menu posted days in advance so that you can plan the entire month and know the activities that your child will be learning. They also have Procare which is an app that you are able to keep track of your child's day through updates/communications and photos."
