"I happened to visit this store yesterday for my groceries and among everything I bought was their "freshly prepared" doodh peda which unfortunately was covered with black and white mold I realised as soon as I got home. I called them up and the phone was answered by a lady who asked me to send pictures of the moldy pedas and my receipt. I went through doing all of this and called her back to which she told me " someone from the management will call you back today" .It did almost feel like a joke to me cos any other store would have taken this very seriously and offered an upfront refund . Anyways I decided to wait for the "upper management" to call me but no one did till now. What is disgusting is the total apathy in handling the complaint and the absolute negligence. They don't care about their quality and are just interested in making a quick buck! Such a shame . Get your service together and then your bucks will follow. You need to get your basics right before anything else. May be you can first start by throwing all your stale moldy food before you are in some serious trouble !"

"Akshita or whatever the name of the cashier is needs to up her game. Items price is clearly mentioned on the box and she still charged me more. Upon asking she stated that prices have changed. I don’t care about a $1 difference but being a member of your store what’s the point of not taking care of the customers. She should have called her manager or someone but decided not to."

"Subhlaxmi is one of the biggest Indian grocery store of Houston. They sell almost every thing right from frozen Gujarati, South Indian and North Indian food to Puja samagri and Home decor items. They also sell beautiful handcrafted swings, God idols and even Indian musical instruments like harmonium, tabla and Dholak. You name it they have it. They do have in-house kitchen for fresh food and fresh sugarcane juice. Also SUPER is their in-house brand. Price is very competitive and along with awesome customer service. Specially their manger (Aesha) is very polite, understanding and helpful. She know aisle location for almost all products. They do offer free curbside pick up and home delivery up to 12 km radius starting from $7.99 additional. Though delivery takes 1-2 days. They do have website where you can place online orders."
