"If I had given a review 4-5 years ago, it would have been a 5 star review. I don’t know what has happened in the last years, the quality of the food has deteriorated. The last time (yesterday) I ordered a caldo to go- when I got home it was literally boiled water, it didn’t even taste like salt. I called upset about this, and the owner offered me a refund or anything else. I simply told him no, although it was a nice gesture- the food is not good enough to even order anything else nor waste my time driving back. They used to be great, now they are just surviving and I can tell."

"First timer, suggested by a coworker of mine. I ordered the enchiladas michocanas beef. Not good , too heavy on the oregano spice. Did not enjoy..."

"I love this place. It reminds me of a slightly fancier version of the hole in the wall places my dad and I used to eat at in El Paso. If you're looking for excellent, cheap tex mex this is it. Nothing about this place is fancy but that makes it perfect. Service is awesome. The owner is a great guy who will do whatever it takes to make you happy. English can be a little hit or miss depending on who's working but this just adds to the ambiance. Everything they make is good but their breakfasts are what I generally go for. They also have a decent sized section of their menu dedicated to Salvadoran food. You know what that means oh yeah, Papusas. Good ones too. Why are you still reading go get some migas and Papusas. Oh and as a bonus they have a pretty decent sized Mexican bakery display."

"The food is good, best and closest to “ real” Mexican in the area. Service is always great as well. Smells a bit funky and the atmosphere could be better. If you are getting it to go then it doesn’t matter."

"Small place. Looks clean when you walk in, the waitress was very welcoming. Now when it comes to the food I don't have as many good things to say. I was very excited to try this place because some comments I read on Google claim they have the "best menudo in town". I couldn't disagree more. Not only is their red sauce extremely oily and inedible but let me fill you in on my experience, I ordered one of their tacos, a taco the lengua and the lengua STILL HAD THE SKIN so I couldn't eat the taco. I was very disgusted and began to doubt the cleanliness of their food. If they didn't take the time to clean the tongue what else don't they take the time to do before they serve food? Definitely won't be coming here again."
