"One of the single best grocery stores in Houston - whatever the need for your culinary adventure, this store has precisely what you need across vegetables, seafood & the meat market, great wines, craft beers, a host of olive oils, vinegars, pasta, and beyond - to the breads, dairy, and fabulous coffee... it is a cornucopia of delights. I readily admit that I have not tried their food-to-go cooked meals and such, and that will be added to my list as you can't help but be enticed by the aromas as you pass the olive bar on your way to the checkout from the cheese & delicatessen area. Truly, a marvel of foodly wonders. Also, fun tip - if you need a great wine selection, make sure you get with Charles in the wine section for his samples and viticultural wisdom."

"This grocery store is the best in Houston tx. Here you can find mostly everything. I drive from spring to the store around 45 minutes but it’s worth it. My favorite part is the fruits area. Literally fruits from all over the world. I like trying weird fruits I’m not used to eat."

"My wife and I were looking for a place to get some groceries and lunch today, so we decided to stop by Central Market in Houston, TX. We've been there a few times before, and we always have a great experience. As soon as we walked in, we headed over to the produce section. We were impressed by the wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables available. Then, we were greeted by the delicious aroma of fresh bread and pastries. We headed over to the bakery and picked up a loaf of crusty sourdough bread and a few bocadillo. We also wanted to get some extra virgin olive oil, so we headed over to the gourmet food section. Central Market has a great selection of olive oils from all over the world. We picked up a bottle of Portuguese olive oil. We also noticed that Central Market was running a Portugal Festival called Passaporte Portugal. There were booths set up all over the store selling Portuguese food and drinks. We picked up some Portuguese pastries and a bottle of Portuguese wine to enjoy later. We had a great experience at Central Market today. The store is clean and well-organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We were able to find everything we needed, and we even got to try some new Portuguese food. Indeed, Central Market is a great grocery store for anyone who loves food, like me."
