"3 times already coming to this store and everytime I come here the sign says says “sorry we’re closed” if it is permanently closed they should just put permanently closed instead of thinking they’re closed for the night and next day be the same"

"They are closed 5 out of 7 days a week due to their systems being down. So cash only on most days. And for the price of things you'd think corporate would be able to supply them P.O.S(point of sales) systems that work."

"STOP! Don’t go in this store agin because if you are on here already have I cannot begin to tell you the things that go on in the store for one they cannot seem to keep a manager and every manager that they get comes in the store and rips the customers off. There is a manager in there now that is New which is a lady she is very loud unprofessional she uses vulgar language to the employees as if they are relatives or some sort or friends also, they are price gouging the prices does not match the shelf. Once you get to the register, it’s totally different. Also, I’ve noticed once you get to the register and ring up items it comes up more then what it is and I was told that is showing the tax, that should not happen. The tax should not come up until you make your last swipe of item so that lets me know right there that something is fishy they are stealing money they should be held accountable. They will no longer get a penny of my money and I’m sure before I caught onto this that I have lost more money because I never really paid attention until this one particular manager is always there. She runs behind the register when she sees people coming she’s looking at you as if you know, something is going on , she has a real guilty way of acting. If you know what I mean when you see a thief I’m just being honest remove these people out of the store clean this Family Dollar up. I wish I could leave no stars!!!"

"Where do I began, well can’t say enough about how unpleasant this visit was. I purchased some items, and I noticed on one item that was ranged up the price was more at the register, the manager on duty was nice about what she wasn’t allowed to do because of her manager. So watch your prices on the shelf and register because they are literally over charging customers. I said to the young lady on the shelf the item stated 4.40 and at the register it was 5:30 so she stated you don’t want it I said yes but I’m not going to pay more for it, she stated our manager said we couldn’t change the prices( which I understood her position) she asked the male worker to check the price and it was 4.40. She called her manager and I believe he must have gave her permission to change the price because as I was stating to her, this is not fair business practices. It’s as though you’re intentionally cheating the customers, who have ever heard of such nonsense. Well as I walked out the door, I decided I didn’t want to patronize this family dollar and went back for a refund. The manager was very nice about it, because I stated to her I don’t want to patronize a business that’s intentionally being dishonest about prices. One employee stated they change the prices in corporate office and don’t tell us, if that’s so corporate should be ashamed of themselves for robbing customers, having them to pay extra money. Again the manager was very apologetic, so I won’t hold that against her. I totally blame upper management for even suggesting to the lower management not to change prices when they clearly can see the error. Are we really getting to this place in society where businesses don’t honor their prices and have no honesty or integrity? What a shame! Managers, you truly need to re evaluate your policies and procedures. This is not normal behavior for a business."

"I got to go there after getting hair cut next to the family dollar. It has everything of essential stuffs for living. I got a big long iron board for $18!! I love it! Couldn’t get to see inside thoroughly but it’s good setting! If you need to get a few small essential stuffs for your home! Come and get it! Cheers"
