"I bought $120 worth of marinated fajita meat for Christmas, and it was disgusting, it was not seasoned at all, it even had a weird smell to it. The meat was even an orange color after it was cooked and to make matters worst, it made my dad sick to his stomach. I called to let them know that the meat was not good and the lady who answered the phone said that no one else has called to complain and that she bought some meat as well. She asked me “what do you want me to do”? with an attitude. She was not very helpful and seemed bothered that I called. I will NOT be returning to this meat market and will be taking my business elsewhere. I prefer the marinated meat from Alameda meat market on Fry road, the meat and customer service is way better."

"Not Sanitary. The lady serving food did not wear any gloves while making my food. I ordered a torta and she picked the meat and cheese out of the containers using her bare hands and put it on the torta. One of hands had a band aid on it. I asked her why she didnt wear gloves and canceled the order immediately and left. They need to wear gloves while handling food, that's basic food safety. Don Chepe needs to train their employees better!"

"Best place ever . It was so needed to have this type of store near our neighborhood! Best customer service ever , the food is amazing! Always fresh and you can tell the girls cook it with love ! They care about the customers , always greet you kindly , the meat department guys always go the extra mile to get you nice cuts of meat . The owners are there taking care of the clientele very often ! The whole staff is nice and ready to help you. .always with a big smile . They have a great selection of fruits , vegetables, meat , milk , Hispanic products and much more. And the best tacos ever! Very very happy with this place ! Plus they made the 529 & Ridgeberry corner look alive and clean again ! I'm so happy ! We go there daily !"
