"During a recent nippy morning post-shopping Target trip decided to try King Nails out. Well overdue for a pedicure, it was great to get there not long after opening time. Busy is great for them but a sparsely packed house and no wait time's always a plus. Most times a pedicure only person, my as of late/ long post-pandemic nail care has been met at my cousin's sorority sister's boutique hair & nail bar. However, she's located on the other side of town (288, 3rd ward area). So good to have an option in the local area. Opting for the French tips, the nail tech was courteous, professional and efficient. The area around the inner cuticle area of my right toe is super sensitive. Taking heed a mention of that, the nail tech was careful about navigating the cuticle clippers in & around that area. *I'd once experienced a nail salon (will remain nameless) where the nail tech cut too far in and it bled (albeit briefly) something ugly and stung something awful. Needless to say, never was I to return there. I found the rest of the staff to be polite and accommodating. A full-size bottle of water was offered. I would have liked just a bit more of a pink tint but the results were great. I left feeling like, when in the area, this may be my occasional go-to for nail maintenance."
