"Great park for a picnic! Lovely scenery and a small playground for kids. It was under construction when we visited (Nov 2023), but you could still access the playground."
"Wish, I know this place exists earlier. In the heart of Salado, the Pace Park surrounded by lush and green. Before visiting this park, please read about legend of Sirena. Sirena is an Indian Maiden who has been longing for her love. A magical catfish appeared and granted the wish for her love with the condition that For an year, on every full moon day, she has to be with the catfish in the mermaid form. She got married happily and on the last full moon day, while leaving pond in haste, a hook got into her mermaid fin and while trying to unhook it, her husband saw her. So the catfish took her into the lake for eternity. And this river is said to be formed based on her tears. Every year in October, there's a Sirena festival in this park"
"First time coming to any events in Salado. The park has lots of shade. Love the bridge nearby and the stairs leading to the street. The festival was great. Many attendees and lots of food."
"Very lovely peaceful place to visit and enjoy the cold springs, walks with mothers nature. Its beautiful there. Picnic tables and swimming area, walk through the park to see very unique things.❤❤"
"It was perfect for my little ones (age 2 & 7). They aren't strong swimmers and the pool can be overwhelming and exhausting. My kids had a blast and can't wait to go again!"
