Reviews of Dixie Farm Road Park
"A relaxing atmosphere beware of copperhead snakes they are definitely out there."
"In September of 2023 I started walking and I made a plan that I will explore all of the parks with walking trails within a 20 mile radius of 77581. So far have been to 7 parks and I like this park the best for the following reason. ONE, This park connects to two other parks by a walking slash biking trail. And they are all a mile apart from each other. So depending on your goal you have the stretch of the trail to challenge yourself. TWO, this park has a small gym where you can work out your whole body muscles. So if you are looking for body toning you can do that here. THREE, you can walk run or bike and even bring your furry friend along. There are plenty of benches along the trail in case you want to catch a breath. Has nice clean restrooms. Plenty of grounds for children to play Check it out. You will love it"
"Glad for the upgrades on the trail but super sad of all the trash being left behind. This place is also home to beautiful creatures. Animals do not leave trash behind.why do humans? I tried picking up myelf but too much for one person."
"Good park. Has a part concrete and part asphalt trail. Plenty of tries, benches on swing all around. Has a rest area and area with exercise equipment. One thing to mention- currently the asphalt part of the trail has lots of fissures making it difficult and unsafe for a walk on that portion of the trail. Limited parking. Pet friendly. Play area for children available. You can pause on the bridge on the trail and watch the turtles in the water."
"This park is connected to several others along a major trail that is 6+ miles. Great for bikes and walks. No four wheelers, or motor vehicles allowed. Dog must be leashed. Sadly the trail is gravel and not smooth trail so not good for skates. Overall great place for dogs, kids and shade with older growth trees."
