"Grady Park used to be one of our favorite spots. Hang with the kids or walk around the track. I knew it may be the day after a big rain, but the playground shouldn't look like this. Rubber pellets wooden chips are saying should be there to cover the background. Plastic covering protruding from the ground children could trip and hurt themselves is really a hazard in such a nice place to go. That's been left in disarray. Houston parks and recreation, shame on you. This park sits in the galleria area on San Felipe, one of the highest tax districts in the city. I reached directly out to the city of Houston Parks and rec. And they were Johnny on the spot. Thanks to Houston parks and recreation. The return email. Your email to AskParks was forwarded to Facilities Management & Development. Please note installation of wood chips at Grady Park Playground was completed on February 7, 2024. Thank you, Rubi Longoria, Administrative Coordinator Facilities Management & Development Houston Parks and Recreation"
"Clean safe neighborhood park. Great for playing tennis or jogging, shame there's only one tennis court in need of resurfacing. Limited parking on site"
"Not a big but conveniently close to our home so I can take my kids every other day out to play there. Most of time we don’t find it much crowded."
"This is a nice park. The grounds are always kept; I always see the workers here mowing and trimming to keep it in top shape. It's very shaded, which is great for Houston heat. Love the picnic area, track, and basketball court. Perfect for a workout or to just let your children enjoy the playground."
"Great Park near the Galleria/Tanglewood Area. There is many activities for children as well as a track, baseball diamond, basketball and tennis courts. Lots of space and tables to play and enjoy a family picnic. Only con would be no public restroom areas."
