Reviews
"Got some fried chicken from the deli and got a piece still raw."
"Beware of expired food dates at this Tom Thumb location in Duncanville, TX off of Cedar Ridge. We had repeatedly bought food from this location with expired dates from as far as 2020 but as common as 2022. Expired food should be taken off the shelf at least 3 months after its expiration date but 2 years is asking for a negligence liability suit. Food poisoning is real and Tom Thumb is not to concern with their neighborhoods health buy keeping this food on the shelf for consumption. Check your expiration dates when shopping at this location. I will be contacting the health inspector if this practice continues."
"Great food, produce, cleanliness, etc... just wish they weren't higher on some of their prices. They aren't that much different than the duncanville Kroger, that's the best Kroger around"
"I just left out of this location to pick up my tags. They refused to accept my check as payment, even though I have a check writing history at another location. I like to write checks for this kind of service as it works better for me. I'm so over this type of treatment while spending money at stores like this I did part of Thanksgiving shopping here too."
"The people who work here are always super nice. This is the second time I've done the drive up, but it was probably the last. I had ordered 4 sets of 1lb strawberries with their coupon of buy one get one free, coming out to about $4. They sold out and I forgot to pick a substitute so I was given 2 packs of 2lb strawberries for $14. I really wanted strawberries so I was fine. Everything that was sold out was swapped out for more expensive items that were not part of their "deals" and I ended up with a bill for $20 higher. One of my strawberries packages is rough. I just got them yesterday and I'm heartbroken. I would take them back, but I have never taken back groceries and this was on the bottom, noticed after we had washed and eaten some from the top. 5 stars for super helpful people inside throughout the store, but -2 stars for their drive up."
