Reviews
"Beautiful nature preserve. Was there for a boy Scout clean up event with my daughter and just blown away by how beautiful the place is. It's not very crowded and lovely to walk around and skip pebbles in the stream."
"Such a lovely place for a walk! I've been here a few times now but there's always something new to see and explore. There's a few different hiking trails and it's a great place to bird watch, discover new and cool bugs or simply sit and relax in nature. One of my favorite places!"
"Bittern Marsh trail was especially lovely. We searched for the painted bunting but did not see it. However, we saw 20 other bird species. The gate opens to this preserve at exactly 7 am. They do not accept cash for your $5/car entry."
"A fantastic hidden gem so close to dallas. This nature preserve is unique and there are trails unlike anywhere else. Our favorite was the Bitten Marsh trail. The highlight was the boardwalk that cuts through the marshy terrain. While there we forgot that we are so close to city amidst the rich flora and fauna. We also really liked the observation points and the dam overlook. Parking is abundant and the trail is clearly marked."
