"Placed and paid for a large order of tamales. They did not have everything I had already paid for but were selling tamales to the people in line. The tamales were not good, too much cumin in them and dry. First and last time at this place. Terrible tamales."

"I started coming to Garzas a few years ago after almost giving up on finding TRULY "AUTHENTIC " barbacoa. The barbacoa at Garzas might be a little pricey, but worth EVERY PENNY! Now you might ask yourself, "is there cheaper barbacoa else where?" The answer to that question is YES, but that's EXACTLY what you will be getting CHEAP barbacoa. Do yourself a favor and save yourselves the disappointment of eating subpar barbacoa and come visit Garzas tortilla factory. You will be GLAD you did!"
"The search of a great Barbacoa place in Harlingen has turned up GARZA! The prices are a little high but the QUALITY is too. We ordered 1lb of Especial and 1lb de Lengua. Outta the both, the lengua was tender and juicy. We like to mix both but the lengua knocked it out. The Verde Salsa was delicious and spot on. Tortillas, soft and warm. Line by 7AM but it was fast, 15mins wait. Dress them up with onion and cilantro."
