"Lots of shaded parking spaces, & quite a bit of the walking path is heavily shaded as well. Walks at dusk or early evening are very beautiful especially w/ a vibrant orangey sunset! Quiet, lots of nature around, friendly park goers too. The playground will keep the kiddos busy & there's usually some kind of sports practice taking place on the huge fielded area. Backs up to a neighborhood entrance on the opposing side. There are water fountains for you & one lower to the ground for the furbabies, & as of right now there is a port o potty to use because of all the street construction on bowman springs."

"Nice family friendly park. Wide walking/ skating/bike path. The path has good shaded areas. There are picnic tables,and grills for small barbecues. The park hours are 5a-11p. My only issues are no lights at the park, and the water fountains don't work."

"For a park without a potty it's super nice. There's a big, paved trail that goes all the way around it."

"A great family park with plenty of space for everyone. The walkway is shaded for about half of the loop. The field is always cut and they even treat it for ants and other bugs. Be advised that the sidewalk ends before the loop completes, so if you are on wheels (stroller, wheelchair, bike, etc.) you have to cut through the parking lot to complete the loop without going over curbs. Other than that, this is another example of Arlington’s amazing parks!"
