"Great place great people great food clean restrooms I came back a year later still great food still great people and they have delicious homemade ice cream. They also have homemade lunches daily. The peach cobbler, cherry dump cake, and banana nut cake all homemade by the way are amazing."

"If you haven't visited and ordered a large (1/2 lb.) burger with the works, you haven't had the best burger in America!! We also appreciate the fast service and attention to the details. "An amazing selection of local Texas beef jerky! If you're driving from out of state and you happen upon this shop and review, do yourself a favor and pick up some beef jerky here. It is a great treat to drive with and I venture to say it helps keep you alert, especially if you buy a peppered or jalapeno jerky - the chewing and the spice should keep you up!"

"Absolutely good food! Wish they stayed open longer hours. Staff wasn't very friendly and you had to wait until they finished the conversation between themselves before they would take my order or ask if you needed anything. So I walk over to another counter looking at what they had to eat and before I could get any food the worker said if anyone wants to take food home with them get it now or its gonna be threw out because it's old, so they start putting left over food in there own bags to take it home. I was there to get me and my husband something to eat. I remember about to grab a sandwich and there was 2 left, a worker walked over and grabbed one and said they was old and was about to throw them away he ask if I wanted the other I said yes please and I'd get myself a salad since he took the other very rude but whatever. So I go to check out and was changed full price for the old Burger they was about to throw away and the girl was very rude. "Do you want anything else" was her exact words. No hi, hello, how are you, can I get you anything else, no smile Nothing but smart attitude and mean. So sorry I interrupted your conversation with your little friend. I'll be sure to stand there for 10 more minutes so you can finish your conversation next time. There are people out there that need a job and would gladly do your job with a smile on their face. Oh BTW you really need to tell your boss (not your friend) he need to pay you more because your getting sick and tired of his bs. I'm sure he would love to pay you more to stand around longer talking to your friend instead of cleaning with the others.... You really deserve that pay raise.... Not."

"This is a really cool place, it is a modern convenience store that is made to look like an old time mercantile store. The people who own it and all the staff treat you like friend's the first time you come in. You have to try their Cheese Burgers. These things are huge! And Delicious and their daily lunches are great too. If you are passing through the Tilden Texas you have to check them out."
