"As some reviewers have already mentioned, the service here is atrocious. Despite the limited options of items in store, our family has visited and purchased numerous times here. We have been attended by brusquely rude attitude by the staff as well as someone who seemed to be the owner. We left the store very upset; I don’t think the poor service is worth any future visits."

"Buyer Beware!! We ordered Moss flat landscaping rocks to build a retaining wall. Caprock delivered the wrong stone. The five pallets were showing Moss flat rocks on the outside and were wrapped in wire. When unwrapped, the rocks in the middle were smaller and were not flat. This is very deceptive. We couldn’t use almost half of them to build the wall. We called but Caprock would not come out and put the stones back on the pallets but wanted our crew to restack them. Our crew had already lost a lot of time trying to sort rocks they could use and had to go to another landscaping supply to get the Moss flat rocks. Caprock blamed their supplier. We think they should have checked the rocks and made sure the rocks were flat before delivery. Our issue was not resolved. We lost time and money getting the job completed. We would not recommend using Caprock."

"Poor customer service. Ordered a 3/4 yard of Decomposed granite and spend 30 min picking these rocks out of a truck load. Confronted them, and they didn't really care. I'll do my business elsewhere in the future."

"This is a personal experience that just happened 2 weeks ago at Caprock. I visited them for the first time to gather material for a project I was doing for a customer of mine. When the loader placed the pallet in my truck it became apparent that the weight was too much for my truck. I asked him to remove the pallet and when doing so he laid the forklift down on my tailgate causing damage to the tailgate. I did not notice right away and when I went back to confront the manager, Eric, he told me that since I was coming back 2 days later that it was not their responsibility. He should absolutely no sympathy or sense of responsibility. He told me he would talk to the owner and never followed back up. When I called him back he told me that he and the owner felt that it was not their responsibility. They will not show me the video footage and told me that because I did not report it right away they were not going to own up to their mistake. I am now left with a damaged tailgate and no apology what so ever for the damage they have done. Eric was extremely rude on the phone and in person when discussing this issue. He has come up with every excuse not to take ownership of this situation which is a direct reflection of whoever owns Caprock."
