"Stopped to get a chimichanga my favorite burrito!! I asked for four taco sauce and the woman behind the counter told me I could only have two!! She Said I had to buy a bottle of the taco sauce if I wanted more. She was serious! I thought she was joking. In as much I declined to purchase the chimichanga and told her it was bad for business to loose a $3.00 sale over a half a cent worth of taco sauce! Allsup’s lost out on that sale."

"It is what it is....an Allsup's Convenience Store. I was having a pretty good day, before stopping here for some coffee and Lotto tickets. Informed the young man which tickets I would like and he proceeded to print them up. As he was doing so, he was talking to a local. When I told him that some of the tickets were not what I had requested....he tells me "What's the difference?". He then proceeded to ring up the sale. I informed him I wouldn't be purchasing the incorrect tickets, he says fine and ask for my ID. I inquired about the ID for Lotto tickets and he stated that they were supposed to ID everyone, I'm 57 BTW. I mentioned that he didn't ask for ID on one of the prior sales of Lotto tickets, ahead of me. He stated that he knew that person. I then informed him to keep all the tickets and simply charge me for the coffee. I went on down the road and purchased my tickets at the Stripes....no ID required. It's an Allsup's, It's slightly higher priced for 'convenience' I get that, but I'm not paying for lack of common sense nor incompetence. Truth be told, I still had an outstanding day. Trick is to not let it get to ya and not to be going back to an establishment that improperly trains their cashiers. Mind you, I'm still a big fan of Allsup's....just not this one. My review is for the treatment of the store's representative not the store or the prices as a whole. It's a convenience store. I believe we need to pick our battles in life accordingly. This wasn't even a battle....it was simply a nod & walk away. Happy Trails Y'all"

"On our way from Austin to Colorado, We stopped at Allsups in Post, TX to fill up our gas tank. While we were there we noticed our tire was low and discovered we had a nail in it. The station had everything we needed. We purchased a tire repair kit, pliers and they also had a complimentary air compressor for their customers to use. The staff was friendly and we feel very blessed to have stopped at the right place to take care of what could have been a dangerous road hazard in the middle of nowhere on the long stretch of highways ahead of us."
