"A Nice, Quiet place to enjoy a mesmerizing view of the sky, great place to enjoy for children, also for walking, having a picnic with family and friends, the lake provides a scenic view. Nice place to pass some leisure time."
"This was my first time at this park. I use public transit and the bus stops at a park entrance. Restroom availability is a big plus for me. Having a large open area allowed me to enjoy my drone. I explored more with my drone camera as conditions were perfect for flying. A very nice lake, a playground for the kiddos (see photos), and there are ball fields, picnic areas as well as walking trails with workout stations. Everything was well maintained. It was my best park experience so far in Lubbock. I will come back and recommend this park."
"Great park for kids to enjoy. Huge playground and lots of nice and friendly people. You can even go fishing."
"Nice playground in this park with exercise equipment, playground for small and bigger children. Beautiful pond, sad enough no walkway or bicycle path around the pond."
"Quick visit to pass time whilst waiting for lab results and as a follow-on to the exercise advice. Would be nice to have dedicated path all the way around the lake. It is a dusty day and the beach areas are strewn with rubbish and a few dead seabirds. It is winter and the grass is brown. I presume there isn't much park maintenance during inclement weather. The only slight complaint is the dust from the dry grass gets into clothing and all. Had there been a lakeside pathway this may have been avoided. Large, well maintained child play area and bird viewing platform, as well as picnic tables. Certainly great place to watch the amazing disorganized chaos the Canada geese cause. Nature is wonderful in-flight."
