"In April 2019 I dropped off my 520c with a Evinrude 250 HO to upgrade to a 250 G2. I picked it up a month later as I was in no hurry for it. When I picked it up I paid the agreed to price. They had used a conversion kit and used the same throttle and hot foot. I live about 125 miles away in Indiana and I wasn’t going to use it until I went back to Florida for the winter. Before going to Fl I put it in the Ohio river to make sure everything was ok. I ran about 29 miles and it ran great. When I shut it off 20 miles from ramp and set for a few minutes it would not go into gear and showed searching for neutral code. I rolled to bank and caught a ride to get tow vehicle. I called this dealer and he said to bring it back. They hooked the computer to it and said there was no faults and sent me away. Upon arriving in Florida I put in lake and ran great again. But when I came back to dock it would not go into reverse. Called owner Kerry Clark and he told me to take to authorized Evinrude dealer and I did. They had it for three days and when I picked it up they charged me $1157. They said everything thing was in the way it was rigged. Took it back to lake and it did the same thing. After three more trips to this dealer. I picked it up and I had figured it out myself. The hotfoot was not adjusted properly and was not letting the throttle come completely back. It was ok with my old motor as it was completely manual. Although it was only about 50 rpms it was enough to keep it from going in gear. I called Evinrude and was told it was the dealers fault. I them called Kerry Clark and asked for reimbursement and he offered me $200. I told him I would settle for a new prop which he declined. I told him to just keep his $200 as he must need it more then me. I felt it was totally there fault for not searching for the problem when I towed it back to them before I went to Florida. Not happy with this dealer. Someone tell me if I’m wrong."

"My rating is low be of services rendered to me. I sp $ 700.00 for a trolling motor and mounting. Took it to the lake and it hadn't been connected to the battery. Used it 3 times afterwards and I almost lost it in the lake because of a misfitted bolt. I took it back and the service tech was a JERK! He said je didnt jave time to do a thing. I went in and asked for the manager and was told well he is not here. He was rude. Brought it home and had it fixed in 10 minutes! I have always given them my business but never again. Thank you for responding. IF IT HAD BEEN MOUNTED PROPERLY IN THE FIRST PLACE WITH THE CORRECT MATERIAL IT NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPENED."
