Reviews
"It's growing, finally, and getting so much better! It's staying clean, which is so nice! Stores are coming back, restaurants are growing and delicious, and the community is enjoying time here again. 3 stars, for now, because it's a working progress, but will update as they continue to grow."
"A bit pricey for what we're used to, but the food is excellent homemade quality, and they serve large portions."
"Clean and Busy. If you come for the Country store and Diner be prepared to wait. They are short staffed but not short on kindness. The store is basic in what it sells but the food was worth the wait. Clean bathroom and some old school cars out front for some cool photo ops."
"I think they could have an excellent business of it was slightly more organized. Plus, my food was burned (crunchy Brussel sprouts). Our waitress did try to offer me another choice, but we waited long enough the first time. I just ate them anyway. I understand the understaffing issue and refuse to be mean about it. Kudos to her for at least asking if I would like something different"
"I didn't have a good experience. I didn't like the fact that I waited an hour for a salad. Other customers that came in after me were getting their food before me. The Homestead Rescue Show made me feel like this was a good place to sit and dine boy, was I wrong. I was accustomed to country life and food but this was different. I haven't felt this much racism since I was a child and I'm in my 60s. People of color beware."
