"This was an amazing experience. I had purchased a rare Tory Burch purse and the side rivets immediately starting falling out. I sent the purse to Cobbler's Direct and lo and behold one of the owners called to discuss the repair! I was kind of in shock. He gave options for the repair and did not push any particular one. Tory Burch does not give out their rivets so they repaired with gold circle rivets in the side design and replicated on the other side. It came back amazing! I have already gotten several compliments and have told them all about Cobblers Direct! Two of my uncles were cobblers. They both owned shoe/purse repair shops in Washington DC and retired in the early 90's. This is a hard service to replace and I struggled to find anyone locally. I would recommend them every single time!"

"I expected much better results sending my birkenstocks in for repair because I know they can be restored to almost as good as new. I wish I had just thrown them out instead of paying $76 for them to look like this. They were in rough shape when I sent them in but craftsmanship is just not good, see photos. There is still a large crack in the sole of the cork that wasn't filled in. The toe strap had come loose and was sewed back down but it is way bigger than the original loop. I would look elsewhere if you are having birks repaired. I’m glad I decided not to have the soles replaced as well because I doubt I’ll be wearing these anymore."
