"I can't say anything about their tattoo services, but we visited their shop because the reviews went on and on about their expertise and experience -- which I'm sure is valid in some respects, as the experience was fast and fairly painless for everyone involved. However, after healing, both my partner and their sibling had their piercings heal awkwardly and at a near 45° angle -- studs have a notable droop and the process of putting them in borders on near-impossible depending on the type of jewelry being used, and the sibling's piercing ended up healing in such a manner that the jewelry juts rather obliquely as opposed to in parallel with one another. They both kept their placeholders in, and disinfected regularly with the Bandaid Pain-free blue antiseptic. I think the sum majority of the issue was the free-hand style of piercing: I don't recall the use of clamps, nor does my partner, and it really shows a lack of regard for the future of the client. Rather, confidence in one's skillset is one thing, but I don't think it should come at the expense of someone else if something goes awry. **CORRECTION: Clamps WERE used for lip piercings** If you're looking for piercing work, consider asking for the use of clamps. Otherwise, consider elsewhere. The staff and guy were really nice, it's just the end result that really suffered. Virtually unusable in a lot of respects, and that sucks because it was a big deal for my partner to undergo that milestone."
